Joan was born and raised in suburban Chicago and began her career with the Firm in 1971 while her husband was stationed at Fort Lee. Her client list includes many physicians and other professionals, realtors, lumber-related entities, manufacturing companies, and family owned businesses in general. Joan is a former member of the Virginia State Board of Accountancy and currently serves on the boards of directors of a community bank and a local non-profit organization.
